As a non-profit housing provider, MOSH is here to help older adults stay rooted in the rural south Ottawa community they know.

MOSH – Metcalfe Osgoode Seniors Non-Profit Housing was created on Jan 1/26 by amalgamating The Township of Osgoode Non-Profit Housing Corporation established in 1980 and Metcalfe Stanley Non-Profit Apartment Corporation established in 2007.

I have been a resident of the Stanley Apts for the past five years. It has a friendly atmosphere and a comfortable lifestyle. Lots of activities for seniors. You can plant your own vegetables in the summer and you’re next to the Metcalfe Market every Saturday. The building is well maintained and cared for. Our office staff is professional and will help you with all your issues. A great place to call home.

I love living here at Dr Dowd Apts. I can afford the rent on my fixed income. Property managers are quick to respond to any issue - thank you! Apartments are clean and up-to-date. Most of the people are very friendly and we get together for cards and different events we organize. You can be as busy as you want or as quiet as you want.

We have [tenant organized] games, coffee, meals. People are looking out for each other. This place is well run and very clean. A nice place to live.

When living at the Stanley Apartments you are in a safe and secure building that is well maintained. The tenants enjoy many gatherings in the Common Room and you are able to grow your own vegetables in the community garden. The tenants are all very helpful if you need assistance.

Couldn’t ask for a better place to call home. Safe, clean. People help each other. Fun times when we all get together for meals, games and entertainment.

Nearly everyone at Dr Dowd Place is more than ready to help others when needed. Also, I appreciate how quickly help is given when things in my apartment need to be fixed or replaced.
